3-bet

The first re-raise. Preflop the big blind counts as the first bet, so the first raise is the second bet and a re-raise is the third.

Example

One player opens to 6 and you re-raise to 18: that is a 3-bet.

4-bet A re-raise of a 3-bet.
open-raise Being the first player to raise preflop, after everyone before you has folded.
squeeze A 3-bet after one player has raised and at least one other has called.
