Hand

The five cards that count for you at showdown. It also means one deal, from shuffle to pot.

Example

K♠ K♥ 9♦ 6♣ 2♠ is a hand: a pair of Kings.

hand rankings The order of the ten poker hands, from royal flush at the top to high card at the bottom.
showdown After the last bet, the players still in show their cards. The best five-card hand wins.
