Check-raise

Checking, then raising after someone else bets.

Example

You check, they bet 10, and you raise to 35.

Also written: check raise, check-raises, check-raised.

check Pass without betting. You can only check when nobody has bet yet this round.
raise Make the current bet bigger. Everyone else must match the new amount, raise again or fold.
